Scarborough Leisure
View of the outer harbour at Scarborough

Scarborough is home to approximately 300 leisure craft, the majority of which moor within the outer harbour. These range from chain moorings and alongside berths to pontoon moorings.

Are you interested in a permanent berth in Scarborough or a short stay as a visitor?

The leisure craft are serviced by the Lighthouse staff who are located in the lighthouse on the Vincent Pier. The opening hours of the Lighthouse reflect the seasonal fluctuation of vessels and visitors.

Visitors are restricted to a maximum stay of 14 days.

A slipway is located on Sandside for launching. A full range of facilities are available for vessel owners and combined with convenient local amenities and a historical seaside town this makes Scarborough an ideal destination.

All vessels exceeding 37 metres overall length require pilotage.

As part of the redevelopment of Scarborough Harbour, there are a number of new Berths available. Details are available on our Developments page and Scarborough Berths page.
