The leisure facilities available at Whitby Harbour are:
Laundry: Located in the amenity block and includes a washer and dryer. Tokens for the laundry can be purchased at the Marina Office.
Toilets: Located in the amenity block. Access is via a keycode which can be obtained from the Marina / Harbour Office / Watchkeeper upon arrival. Chemical toilet disposal is available. Please do not use the ships head whilst in port.
Pump Out: the facility is located on the trident pontoon and tokens are available from the Marina Office.
Showers: Located in the amenity block. Access is via a keycode which can be obtained from the Marina / Harbour Office / Watchkeeper upon arrival.
Water: Available free of charge on the pontoons and at various locations around the harbour.
Electricity: Tokens are available for purchase from the Marina Office in denominations of £1, £5, and £10.
Car Parking: Permanent berth holders on the upper harbour pontoons are allocated one parking permit for the west side car park, with the option of purchasing one extra crew permit. Visitor parking is available and permits can be purchased.
Fuel:Small amounts of marine diesel are available from the fuel pump adjacent to the Marina Office. You will require suitable containers.
Safety: Safety equipment is provided. Please take note of the equipment available and its location.
Refuse: Domestic refuse can be placed in the bin adjacent to the Marina Office.
Trolley: Two marina trollies are available for use.
Waste Oil: Please leave this in closed containers on the grid to the rear of the Marina Office.
Security Gates: These are fitted to the west and east side floating pontoons. Keys can be obtained from the Marina Office.
Weather Forecast: These are posted on the notice board at the Marina.
Slipway: Located at the south end of the marina car park. Launching permits can be purchased. It is accessible at most states of the tide with the exception of low water springs when it is accessible for 4 hours either side of High Water.
Storage: Vessel storage is permitted during the winter season – 1 November to 31 March – and a weekly charge is levied. This is primarily reserved for our permanent berth holders, although it is extended to non-berth holders when spare capacity allows. Please contact the Harbour Office to discuss availability.
