Lower Harbour
Tate Hill
These are chain moorings located between the Tate Hill Pier and the Fish Pier on the east side of the harbour. These moorings dry out so vessels must be capable of safely taking the ground in an upright position. Dinghy access will be required while vessel are afloat. These moorings can only be occupied between 1 April and 31 October.
St Annes
These are chain moorings located on the west side of the harbour below the swing bridge. These moorings dry out so vessels must be capable of safety taking the ground in an upright position. Dinghy access will be required while vessels are afloat. These moorings can only be occupied between 1 April to 31 October.
Upper Harbour
West Side Single Berths:
These are located on the west side of the upper harbour parallel to the West Side / Main Pontoon and on the Trident Pontoon which is adjacent to Endeavour Wharf. Water and electricity is available. These moorings are dredged to a depth of 1.5 m below C.D. although vessels must be capable of taking the ground in a soft river bottom as there is occasional rapid siltation following strong river flows. One car parking permit per vessel is available. The pontoon has a security gate and each vessel is permitted a maximum of 2 keys (deposits are applicable). These berths are available from 1 April to 31 October, and the winter period of 1 November to 31 March is optional.
West Side/ Main Pontoon
This is located on the west side of the upper harbour. Moorings are double berthed. Water and electricity is available. These moorings are dredged to a depth of 1.5 m below C.D. although vessels must be capable of taking the ground in a soft river bottom as there is occasional rapid siltation following strong river flows. One car parking permit per vessel is available. The pontoon has a security gate and each vessel is permitted a maximum of 2 keys (deposits are applicable). These berths are available from 1 April to 31 October, and the winter period of 1 November to 31 March is optional. Visitors moorings are located on the northern end of this pontoon.
East Side / Church Street Pontoon
This is located on the east side of the upper harbour. Moorings are double berthed.
Water is available. These moorings are dredged to a depth of 1.5 m below C.D. although vessels must be capable of taking the ground in a soft river bottom as there is occasional rapid siltation following strong river flows. One car parking permit per vessel is available, parking is on the west side of the harbour. The pontoon has a security gate and each vessel is permitted a maximum of 2 keys (deposits are applicable). These berths are available from 1 April to 31 October and the winter period of 1 November to 31 March is optional.
East Side / Party Pontoon
This is located on the east side of the upper harbour between the bridge and the Church Street Jetty. Passenger taking craft are given priority over available berths on this pontoon. Moorings are double berthed. Water is available. These moorings are dredged to a depth of 1.5 m below C.D. although vessels must be capable of taking the ground in a soft river bottom as there is occasional rapid siltation following strong river flows. One car parking permit per vessel is available parking is on the west side of the harbour. The pontoon has a security gate and each vessel is permitted a maximum of 1 key (deposits are applicable). These berths are available from 1 April to 31 October and the winter period of 1 November to 31 March is optional.
Drying Pontoon
This is located on the west side of the harbour above the west side pontoon and slipway and is the most southerly mooring provided by the Council. Moorings are
double berthed. These moorings dry out so vessels must be capable of safely taking
the ground in an upright position. Water is available. One car parking permit per vessel is available. These berths are available from 1 April to 31 October and the winter period of 1 November to 31 March is optional.
St Mikes
These are chain moorings located between the party pontoon and the Church Street car park on the east side of the harbour. These moorings dry out so vessels must be capable of safely taking the ground in an upright position. Dinghy access will be required while vessel are afloat. These moorings can be occupied for the full year.
