Prices for craft visiting Whitby are:
Harbour Act 1964 - Whitby Harbour Dues and Charges
Effective from 1st Day of January 2010
All dues payable within 24 hours of entry or demand. Failure to comply may result in on-cost charges for administration. All calculations for overall length will be inclusive of fixtures and fittings.
Private Motorboats, Yachts, Pleasureboats and Houseboats

Harbour Dues:
Plus 25% for multi-hulled craft.
Per entry (per day) 98p (per metre of overall length): with a min. charge of £7.84
Per month (per metre of overall length): £14.75
(only in exceptional circumstances and at the Harbour Masters discretion)
Maximum length of stay for visiting pleasure craft 14 days
All measurements will be to the nearest highest 0.10 metre.
All calculations of length will be inclusive of fixtures and fittings. (Plus 25% for multi-hulled craft.)
Mooring Fees:
Visiting Yachts - per metre of overall length, min 8 metres, per day: 95p (min £7.60)
The above visitors charges also apply in those instances where the cargo berth area is used, at the discretion of the Harbour Master or his Deputy.
Day Boat Launch Rate
Daily rate, including Harbour Dues (but excluding car parking): £12.90 inc. VAT
Annual rate for unlimited number of launches: £240.40
Storage of Craft
For the storage of craft during the period 1st November to 31st March, per metre of overall length per week: £1.15 (min £6.70)
Emergency storage of craft at Harbour Masters discretion during summer season will be charged at double winter rate.
Sailing Dinghies other than Tenders
Period 1st April to 31st October, includes storage, harbour dues, unlimited launches on slipway: £265.20
Period 1st November to 31st March additional storage: £24.15
Marina/Pontoon Electricity Supply
Tokens available in denominations of £1, £5 and £10
Marina Amenity Block
Washing Machine: £2.30 (inc. VAT)
Drier £1.18 (inc. VAT)
Educational and Charitable Trust organisations Harbour Dues, block fee pa: £239.80
Marina Users Car Park - Bona fide visitors and slipway launches only.
Car parking subject to availability of space at the discretion of the Harbour Master.
