Whitby Harbour Office produces its own tide tables and they are usually available by November each year for the following year.

They can be purchased at the Harbour Office, Marina Office and the Tourist Information Centres.

You can send a cheque or postal order for 80p (2008 price) with a stamped addressed envelope to the Whitby Harbour Office who will return one to you by post.

The data is provided by the Proudman Oceanographic Laboratory and they can provide data for today and the next six consecutive days for many British and Irish ports.

The Whitby Swing Bridge times adhere strictly to these tide tables.

Tide tables can also be purchased at a wholesale price to many local businesses and shops.
